TOPIC
What do you see and how do you envision the land?
• Welcome to country and introduction of the artists.
• The first purpose of this forum is for the artists to present stories of their experiences and observations of changes in the weather/climate in Australia, how they observe the flora and fauna are responding to those changes and how their art works are visual representations of those stories.
• A second purpose of this forum is to hear responses from the people of Kingaroy to our art and our stories in respect of the impact of weather and climate change on their lives and on farming practices.
• The third purpose of this forum is to give people an opportunity to share a vision for the land in this region and across Australia in respect of sustainable farming practices and the positive long term impact this would have on beauty, lived experience and economics.
