Dear friends of the Kingaroy Regional Art Gallery
I am writing to provide you with an update regarding the Kingaroy Regional Art Gallery and COVID-19.
The Kingaroy Arts Team Inc, the not-for-profit group responsible for the operation of the Kingaroy Art Gallery has discussed and considered the challenges of staffing the Gallery in the near future.
To limit any possible transmission of the virus in our community, and to prioritise the wellbeing of our volunteers, exhibitors, KAT members and visitors we have made a decision to temporarily close the Gallery effective from Monday, March 16 until further notice. This decision will be reviewed regularly and updates posted on our Facebook page and our website.
The David Bryce Rural Art award planned for April and May will be postponed until later in the year.
We will continue to monitor the situation and make announcements relating to our Winter Craft Festival planned for June and July as soon as we are able to.
We look forward to resuming our exhibition programme as soon as possible, and we are seeking your understanding and patience as we make the necessary adjustments to our programs.
