“Happiness is a Garden”

In gallery three, step into a world of delicate beauty and quiet joy with Lyn Kenny’s exhibition Happiness is a Garden. Through a combination of textiles, cyanotypes, monoprints, photography, encaustic, resin, embroidery, and other mixed media techniques, Lyn captures fleeting moments in the life of her garden and transforms them into lasting works of art.

She intends to honour the impermanence of nature – to preserve the peaceful and contented moments found among blooms and leaves before they fade and disappear. Visitors are invited to walk alongside Lyn through her creative garden and share in the happiness it brings.

Lyn will give an artist’s talk on Wednesday, 11th June, inside Kingaroy Art Gallery.
