Using the sun to create printing plates, participants will learn the basics of Solar Plate Etching in this hands-on practical workshop.

Solar plates are a flexible, low-toxic alternative to traditional printmaking that allows for a broad range of imagery that resembles etchings, woodcuts, drawing or photography.

In this workshop participants will be given an insight into Belinda’s art practice and will be guided through the plate-making process to create 1 – 2 prints in an image style of their choosing.
